David received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado in 2011. After working in agriculture for a few years, he then attended the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in Denver, Colorado, and received his J.D. in 2016. David was admitted to the Colorado bar in 2017, U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado in 2018, the North Carolina bar in 2020, and the Michigan bar in 2021. David is committed to providing personalized legal services to Shinners & Cook clients with the utmost professionalism, as well as to assisting members of the Tri-Cities communities in a general civic capacity.
In addition to practicing law, David enjoys exploring the outdoors and traveling abroad. He has explored many national parks in the United States and backpacked throughout much of Central America. In his free time, David prefers to stay active by surfing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, hiking, biking, and fishing.
