About Dana L. Bourdlaies
Dana received her Associate’s Degree in Business Studies, with a Legal Assistant emphasis, from Delta College in 1999. She was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan as a member of the Legal Assistants Section in 2001. Dana joined Shinners & Cook in 1997 and focuses on estate planning.
“I like the new challenges and different tasks that come with each day on the job,” Dana states. “I work closely with clients throughout the estate planning process, which I enjoy. I team with attorneys to achieve the best possible estate plan, one that meets the client’s specific needs and wishes in planning for their family. I try to imagine how I would feel in their situation. It’s especially gratifying when we see that clients are really happy with our work and come back to us to do more work. It means they’ve put their trust in us.”
“At Shinners & Cook I work with the best attorneys in the area,” she continues. “I’m surrounded by people who know the law, are committed to accuracy, and respond proactively to get the job done.”
In addition to her work at Shinners & Cook, Dana likes spending time with her family, whether just going for walks or enjoying special activities together.
